We are so sad that tomorrow is Miss Tyriver's last day! We're going to miss her! She will be moving on to a placement with a pre kindergarten class. What a change.

Tomorrow is our science test! Be sure to look over the review sheet sent home yesterday as well as the flashcards sent home last week. We'll have to use our brains!! (That's what we've been studying!)

Also tomorrow, the kids are going to share a poem that they've been practicing! What fun! I can't wait to see what they choose.

Wow, What a crazy day we had!!!! Today was crazy hair day! We also had some guest readers today! Miss Tyriver had some guests from the University of Oshkosh come and read to us today! They were football players, the quarterback and a linebacker! They read to us and talked about the importance of school and reading. What a blustery Wednesday!

Today we worked on what to do with a remainder in our division problems. We learned to write it as a fraction, round up, or leave it the same, depending on what the question asked.

Miss Tyriver is so excited that 13 kids have volunteered to present their biographies. Check your child's agenda to see when they present.

We've started our Native American posters! It will be fun to see the creative ways the students choose to display what they've learned about the tribes of Wisconsin!

Happy Monday!! I hope you are all shoveled out!! Today we began making our biography posters. When you come for conferences, you should be able to see them hanging up.

We finished our read aloud Among the Hidden today. It was written by Margaret Peterson Haddox. What an exciting book.

We are still working on long division! Whew - what a long process. It certainly helps to know our basic math facts really well!!!

March Madness is next week. What will you wear for twin day??

Good Morning!! What a busy week we've had. We've been busy turning our biographical facts into really interesting sentences. We're going to start our poster today!

We've started Long Division in math. Yikes! We're getting it though!

Today is February Fun day, so all those that have their passes filled with stars will enjoy a movie and popcorn! Yum!

Hola!!

Today we took a math test. We're done with multiplication and moving on to division. I hope you all come to math night tonight!! Mrs. Fugar is giving out homework passes to those students who make it!!! Hotdog!! Speaking of... hotdogs will be served tonight! 6:30-7:30. Hope to see you there!!!

In Social Studies, we've started learning about Native Americans of Wisconsin! We will be researching the different tribes, creating a poster, and making a podcast of the information we learn.

We have gotten really far on our biographies!! Miss Tyriver is encouraging the kids to dress up in a costume when they present their posters. I can't wait to see their presentations!!
